Garden and Outdoor Lighting, Isle of Man

The Brief

An outdoor living space needed lighting that would make it usable and welcoming after dark. That meant lighting for a garden room bar, a timber canopy over a hot tub, the patio seating area and the wider garden, with everything suitable for outdoor use.

What We Did

Our work included:

• LED strips in the garden bar: Linear LED strips fitted along the ceiling beams of the garden room to light the bar area evenly.
• Hot tub canopy lighting: LED strip lighting run through the rafters of the timber canopy, using fittings suited to a damp outdoor setting.
• Festoon lights over the patio: Festoon lighting strung above the seating area for a relaxed, soft light.
• Floodlights in the garden: Floodlights mounted high on a tree trunk to light the garden at dusk and after dark.
• Outdoor-rated equipment throughout: Cables, connections and fittings chosen and protected to suit outdoor conditions.
• Tested and certified: All circuits were tested on completion and the relevant certificate issued.

The Result

A garden that works just as well in the evening as it does during the day, with the bar, hot tub, patio and trees each lit to suit how the space is used. The work is covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee.
