The Brief

Two newly renovated bathrooms needed their electrics fitted to suit the new layouts. The work called for ceiling downlights, extractor fans to deal with steam, illuminated LED mirrors above the basins and an electric towel rail, all installed safely and neatly around the new wall panels and tiling.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Planned around the bathroom zones: Every fitting was positioned with the bathroom zones in mind, using suitably IP-rated fittings for each location near the bath, shower and basin.
• Fitted ceiling downlights: Downlights installed through the ceilings, including over the walk-in shower and the quadrant shower, to give bright, even light throughout.
• Installed extractor fans: Extractor fans fitted to clear steam and moisture, helping to protect the new panels and finishes.
• Wired illuminated LED mirrors: LED mirrors mounted and wired above the basins for clear, shadow-free light at the mirror.
• Supplied a fused spur for the towel rail: The black electric towel rail was wired from a dedicated fused spur, mounted neatly on the panelled wall.
• Tested and certified: All circuits were tested on completion and the relevant certificate issued.

The Result

Two bright, modern bathrooms with lighting, ventilation and heating that suit the new finishes. The LED mirrors and downlights give good light where it is needed, the extractor fans keep moisture under control, and the towel rail sits on its own fused supply. The work is covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee.
